How it works
Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS power a cinema-inspired movie discovery experience. Server Components read catalogue data through a server-side TMDB integration. Better Auth provides the email and password authentication backend through a Prisma adapter backed by PostgreSQL. Visitors can switch between daily and weekly trending movies, browse popular titles, search by name, and open film details. Trailers play in an on-demand dialog, while search and trending selections stay in the URL for sharing and navigation.
